Mindfire Solutions releases iAirbag 1.1

Mindfire Solutions announced the release of iAirbag 1.1 - an updated version of iAirbag

March 7, 2011 - PRLog -- 07/03/2011, New Delhi, India: The life saving app iAirbag has now an updated version called the iAirbag 1.1. This was recently released by Mindfire Solutions and is available on iTunes.

iAirbag 1.1 is the enhanced version of the life saving app iAirbag (released by Mindfire Solutions on 14th Jan’2011). iAirbag detects accidents so that help  can reach before time runs out. It detects motion, or rather, the lack of it. You switch it on when you start driving or moving - on your bike, in your car, on a train, whatever and the app starts its functionality. You turn it off when you reach your destination safely. iAirbag detects the unexpected stillness and swings action. It initiates a call to a pre-set number and helps help reach you before time runs out. iAirbag uses sudden acceleration as trigger that something has occurred, and then confirms the event by checking motionlessness. It uses both accelerometer and GPS data for double confirmation of motionlessness. It allows you to set a comfortable alert period before the actual alarm is fired, during which you can cancel the alarm with one touch. iAirbag has reached the 1000 download mark in nearly a month.

iAirbag was developed by Mindfire Solutions in memory of Debasish Das a former employee who met with an accident and lost his life. He lied unnoticed in the darkness unable to call for help. Imagine you are driving your bike, car, or traveling in train, bus or any other vehicle and what if you meet with an accident and you lay somewhere unnoticed in the darkness unable to call for help. You feel helpless and wished you could have called somebody and something could have been done to save your life. “This app (iAirbag) is a tribute to Late. Debasish Das” stated by Chinmoy Panda, CEO, Mindfire Solutions

This app previously lacked few features which have been updated with this latest version release of iAirbag. Features like, auto tweeting and power saving mode has been added to the list of other features which were available in the iAirbag. iAirbag can now post to your twitter account (needs one time login) in case of any eventuality detection. Power saving mode of the iAirbag would be enabled after 30 seconds of starting the tracking. While in power saving mode the screen of the app goes black, stopping update of visual elements (like motion graphs) while still tracking the motion silently. Touching anywhere on the screen would bring the display back.

Mindfire Solutions has been instrumental in developing such utility apps for the world and is constantly looking out for fresh ideas to develop and help the society as a whole.
