Vincent J. Truglia is Now a Principal with Granite Springs Asset Management LLC

March 7, 2011 - PRLog -- New York, NY - Granite Springs Asset Management LLC is pleased to announce that Vincent J. Truglia, Managing Director of Global Economic Research, is now a Principal of the Firm.

Vincent J. Truglia joined Granite Springs Asset Management LLC as Managing Director of Global Economic Research in June 2010.  Mr. Truglia was previously head of Moody’s Sovereign Risk Unit for fifteen years.  At Moody’s he was responsible for the ratings of over 100 countries, supranationals, and government related companies.  Mr. Truglia also held senior positions at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, the Bank of New York/Irving Trust, and NCNB Charlotte (now Bank of America).  Mr. Truglia is a member of the Global Commission on Aging and he is one of the world’s experts on pensions.  In the past he has testified before both House and Senate pension committees.  Mr. Truglia holds a MA and ABD from McGill University, Montreal, Canada in International Economics and a BSFS in International Affairs from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.  Mr. Truglia has done graduate work on a Ford Foundation Grant at Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland, and he studied at the Universita per Stranieri in Perugia, Italy.
