The Show Must Go On In Michigan

March 5, 2011 - PRLog -- Flint, Michigan; Despite recent discussions in Lansing regarding the generous 42% Michigan Film Tax Credit, production of Cloud 9 TV will continue this weekend at Pontiac Flight Service in Waterford, Michigan. Its’ creator, Chaz Divon Tolbert is committed to providing not only entertainment, but career opportunities for residents of a state with a struggling economy as well.

In 2010 FlintStone Production emerged and began taping new episodes of Cloud 9 in Grand Blanc, Michigan . The 30 minute TV show is a sexy comedy about 6 employees that work at Spunky Airlines, a dysfunctional airport that uses satire to keep the audience soaring with laughs from take-off to landing. The show stars Michigan actors and comedians such as Chaz Divon Tolbert, Alecia Hamilton, Mark Bonto, Abby Sayo, Naly Warah and Kevin Nowak. The show was created by executive producer, Chaz Divon Tolbert of FlintStone Productions and is being co-produced by Alecia Hamilton, directed by Chris Nicken and Joel Paul Reisig. The producers are actively seeking distribution of season 1 and have sparked the interest of one network in particular which has requested a copy of the pilot for review due to its stellar cast, experienced producers and exceptional writers and directors.

Like many production companies in Michigan, FlintStone Productions could benefit from the tax credits currently available under legislation. However with a recent sponsorship deal from, Pontiac Flight Services and the support of companies like Better Made Snacks, Faygo Cola and Don Francos Hair Salon of Grand Blanc, production has successfully continued and will do so throughout 2011.
