Focus on Global Antitrust Enforcement
Conduct by overseas regulators is taking on increasing importance as pharma companies look globally for business opportunities. This year’s forum will look at interaction between agencies around the world and analyze what regions present unique enforcement challenges. Valuable inside insights will be provided by antitrust specialists and officials from the EU and Brazil.
Demystifying FTC Processes
With the participation of many current and former senior FTC officials, considerable guidance will be provided that will illuminate how the Commission operates, and provide insights on effective practices for responding to an investigation.
Patent Settlement Considerations
In light of the recent renewed debate over patent settlements in the industry, it is important to be up-to-date on the most recent positions taken by the FTC and the courts. Detailed guidance will be provided at this year’s Forum that will make you able to structure a settlement that aligns with the Commission’s concerns, and survive close scrutiny.
Program Director Alan Forrest remarked, “This program is the culmination of detailed discussion with senior individuals at top law firms, government agencies, and pharmaceutical companies both in the U.S. and abroad. Attendees will have a rare opportunity to have their complex questions answered by the industry’s most expert regulators and practitioners.”
