North Springs Sophomore Beatrice Baker receives National Honor

March 3, 2011 - PRLog -- Atlanta, GA) The National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS) today announced that North Springs High School Sophomore Beatrice Baker from Atlanta, GA has been selected for membership.  The Society recognizes top scholars and invites only those students who have achieved academic excellence.  The announcement was made by NSHSS Founder and Chairman Claes Nobel,  a senior member of the family that established the Nobel Prizes.
Beatrice is a member of the North Springs Marching Band, National Beta, North Springs Jazz Band, Dance Magnet Tour Group and Mock Trial Club. Beatrice is a vocalist and lead alto Saxophone with Agape Love (3 Girl Jazz Trio) of Atlanta, Ga. Beatrice is also the guest saxophonist for Buckhead Youth Orchestra, Buckhead, GA.
