Holiday Inn Resort Continues to Exceed Expectations

March 3, 2011 - PRLog -- The Holiday Inn Resort is packed with amenities from the money saving Kid’s Eat Free program, to the Kid’s Water Playground, to the SunSet Lounge for adults – all directly on the sugar white sands of Panama City Beach, and by the end of 2011 this resort promises to have even more for their guests to enjoy!

Formerly the Holiday Inn SunSpree, the Holiday Inn Resort, Panama City Beach achieved the “Resort Status” and their new sign in October of 2009 but that doesn’t mean the resort team is done working hard for their guests!  This year, the Holiday Inn Resort plans to update the guest room furniture, guest room flooring, entertainment schedule, and a few other areas around the resort to enhance the experience their guests will have at the resort.

“We are very thankful for each and every one of our guests, and it is for that reason that we are constantly working on enhancing our product and our service at this resort.  We strive for excellence here; we want all of our guests to feel welcome and appreciated – we want them to become a part of our resort family, but to treat them even better than family.” Says General Manager, Cody Khan.  

The resort team has spent a great deal of time and effort researching what type of furniture and amenities would best suit both the resort and the guests, and is proud to announce that by the end of 2011 more than half the floors will have all new island inspired furniture, with the remaining floors to be finished in 2012!  This is a slow process as the team is working to make these changes as seamless as possible in an effort to not disrupt the enjoyment of their most important asset, their guests.

During 2011 all of our guest rooms will also be enhanced with new flooring!  The guests have spoken and the resort team has listened.  The current tile flooring is on its way out to make way for new wood flooring with the look of caramelized bamboo and a small section of carpet around the guest beds for additional comfort.

Another change to be completed early this year is that all rooms will have new locks on them.  This may seem insignificant but it really shows the attention to detail the Holiday Inn Resort pays to their guests. The resort team started to notice that guests were having trouble with the current locks with keys no longer working, forcing the guest to experience the inconvenience of having to go back to the front desk to get their key re-magnetized.   With the new RFID lock system the team can now use an RFID key that will not de-magnetize if it is near a cell phone, gets wet, or any of the other causes.  The team hopes this small change will prevent any further inconvenience for their guests, making their stay just that little bit more enjoyable.  

Just as convenient as before - but better than ever! The Resort’s tropical market on the pool deck just finished enhancing the store for the upcoming season with new all new flooring, new counter, and a fresh new look.

One of the most exciting enhancements to the Holiday Inn Resort in 2011 is the addition to the entertainment schedule!  This beach-side resort has always gone above and beyond to entertain their guests… but this year, not only will they have the Kid’s Activities Program, the Polynesian Dance & Fire Show, the Todd Allen Vegas-Style Variety Show, and Karaoke – the resort is adding a Magic Show starring Noah Wells! “We try to provide lots of entertainment for our guests in hopes to, of course, give them the best experience at our resort as we possibly can… but also to minimize their entertainment costs outside of the hotel.  Some of the condos up and down the beach charge the same amount for their rooms but don’t provide any of the other amenities or services.    We understand you work all year to be able to take your family on a summer vacation, and we want our families to have the best memories to take back with them.  You won’t hear “I’m bored” from your kid’s at our resort!  The entertainment and service you receive at our resort is what truly sets us apart from the rest.”  Says Philip Colvin, Director of Marketing.
