DeSalvo Named Chief Marketing Officer at Truliant Federal Credit Union
Truliant has named Karen DeSalvo the new Chief Marketing Officer. She will lead Truliant’s marketing strategy across all of its services and products including membership, education, community outreach, research and business development.
DeSalvo most recently served as the Senior Vice President of Marketing at Seven Seventeen Credit Union in Warren, Ohio, where she worked for over 10 years. Prior to Seven Seventeen, she was Vice President of Marketing with F.N.B. Corporation in Hermitage, Pennsylvania. In addition, DeSalvo was Vice President of Marketing at Mahoning National Bank, now Huntington Bank.
She’s also actively involved in the community, serving on Boards of various non-profit and financial organizations such as the United Way of Trumbull County, Credit Union National Association (CUNA), American Bankers Association’

DeSalvo received a Bachelor of Science and Business Administration in Advertising and Public Relations from Youngstown State University in Ohio and is one of fewer than 250 individuals nationally to hold the Certified Financial Marketing Professional certification. Additionally, she is a graduate of the ABA School of Marketing and Management.
