Based upon a true story, the setting is a small town in Alabama where a family of four has everything to live for.  They are surrounded by friends and family who share in their good fortune.  There is nothing they would not do for a deserving soul; all would gladly acknowledge that fact about them.

In the blink of an eye, all that changes.  Beginning on August 6th, 1992, things were set into motion that would turn their lives upside down.  Daniel and Maria Stevens, along with their young children, are being terrorized and harassed.  All this began because Daniel had chosen to expose criminal activity within the Postal System.  What was exposed?  A conspiracy between this well respected organization and a large media company that had set things in motion.  

After that, Nicole age 6 and Catherine age 12 find themselves in for the fight of their lives, too.  Daniel and Maria jump into action.  This criminal activity, which has far reaching effects, must be stopped before it could destroy America.  However, they could not do it alone, and finding help was next to impossible.

Soon Daniel realizes this problem has deep roots and spans the globe.  The only solution is to go public.  Novelist Roger D. Grubbs does that through three separate books:  “for the Victims”, “for the Victims II – Avenging Angel”, and “for the Victims III – Nation in Crisis”.

Roger traces this thread from a small town setting through the county seat, to the state capitol, and all the way to insiders in Washington DC.
