Feb. 28, 2011 - PRLog -- San Jose, CA February 28, 2011 --- Willow Glen In Motion has announced their next Community Enrichment Event “The Family Roadmap to Higher Education” at 6:00 p.m. on March 9, 2011 at The Willow Glen Community and Senior Center.

This one-hour informative workshop will discuss the changes and challenges your teen encounters on their path through our educational system and will offer some tips and tools on surviving both the emotional and financial effect of your child entering college.  Esther Ludlow will provide helpful tips for supporting your child along with survival secrets for your whole family while Alex Hayes will discuss ways to minimize the financial impact on your family throughout the journey.

Esther Ludlow has been teaching, counseling and coaching parents, couples and families for over 9 years. Her driving goal is to help families raise great kids and experience great relationships. She specializes in working with school age children and their parents. Esther has taught, counseled and coached teens as well as adults at several bay area high schools, alternative schools, and churches and worked with at-risk youth at San Jose Juvenile Hall and the Bill Wilson Center.

Alex Hayes is a Vice President and Regional Marketing Director for the Financial Institutions, Independent Financial Advisors, and Broker/Dealer divisions.  In this role, he has been providing guidance and support on the various choices available to parents which minimize the financial impact of providing for their children’s education since 1999.

This event is the third in a series of Community Enrichment Events produced by Willow Glen In Motion- an organization that is on the quest of discovering the uniqueness of Willow Glen; creating a stronger bond within the community and expanding appreciation for the area.
