Equals6 Launches Top-Talent Scholarship Program

Feb. 27, 2011 - PRLog -- Halifax, NS – February 28, 2011 – Equals6, the student career development network, announced today the launch of its Top-Talent Scholarship program.  

Together with private industry partners, Equals6 is providing scholarships to high school and college/university students.  “The Equals6 Top-Talent Scholarship program is a great way to encourage and support bright, well-rounded and motivated students across all disciplines,” said Andy Osburn, President and CEO of Equals6.

Together with industry partners such as SimplyCast, there are over 25 scholarships totaling close to $10,000 being offered. “It is our objective to recruit smart and talented employees and providing student scholarships through the Equals6 Top-Talent program is a great way to identify and engage future star performers,” said Saeed El-Darahali, President and CEO of SimplyCast.

Top-Talent Scholarships are distributed to high school and university/college students and are awarded based on academic achievement, community citizenship, and Equals6 network participation. The scholarship award winners are chosen by the Equals6 Advisory Board and companies offering scholarships.  

How to Apply: Go to www.equals6.com and register as a student. Navigate to the Scholarships section and fill in your application.  Scholarship applications must be submitted by May 1st, 2011 for award date June 1st, 2011.
