Voobon Ventures attacks the Cyber Bullies

Feb. 28, 2011 - PRLog -- Atlanta, GA- Voobon Ventures has been under attack from individuals creating false and slanderous information on internet media and blogging sites.  Websites similar to Complaintsboard.com and Rip Off Report.com promote individuals to post statements or opinions regardless of their content and these web sites do not investigate or substantiate the claims which allows publication of statements that may be defamatory in nature.  Such sites disregard fair and unbiased reporting and justify their actions under the protection of the Constitutional rights of freedom of speech by individuals in permitting illegal acts of libel to take place. The site owners refuse to remove such statements or post to the website.  Regardless of the threatening or harassing nature of the reports filed, statements, or rebuttals these website directly refuse citizens their Constitutional right by permit cyber-bullying and illegal publications.  

Voobon Ventures has begun a stand against the malicious and false statements that have been posted against the company, its executives, clients, and staff.  “The foundation of the United States is being tested everyday that these false statements are permitted to remain on such internet sites,” states Voobon Ventures executive, Mark Shariar.  He continues to express his disappointment of the failure of action from the site owners and the local government, “words are weapons of mass destruction against us due to the refusal to remove the defamatory information posted on these sites, there is no defense when cyber-bullying is permitted, my staff and business should not have to undertake such damages due to illegal statements, someone should do something about this, as permitting these statements infringes on our Constitutional right, this is not America, yet a unjust attack on our organization and private individuals.”

”The attack of slander against Voobon Ventures on some blog sites  is a malicious distortion of facts.  Fair and unbiased journalism in most media outlets,  practices an examination of facts before printing or broadcasting information about individuals or businesses .  No media, including the internet, should allow slanderous and malicious posts in blogs or discussion groups under freedom of speech protection unless it is supported by evidence and the accused should be allowed a rebuttal.” states John Lord, Executive Vice President of Voobon Ventures.

Mark Shariar and other individuals at Voobon Ventures have been targeted through these attacks of cyber-bulling and libel.  The Company is being forced to endure the damages from these acts and its harm against the well-being of their employees, with no resolution or relief of such damages.  Voobon executives have concluded that it is time to fight back.  In addition to taking an active stand against the cyber-bullying, Voobon Ventures has increased the sponsoring and support of community outreach organizations, in attempts to combat the preconception and fictitious remarks about the company.  Voobon Ventures looks forward to altering the actions taken by the local government and the site owners, while preventing other companies from future damages due to these unmerited websites in the process.
