Attorney to join the firm’s Litigation Practice Group


FT. LAUDERDALE, FLA – February 23, 2011 – The law firm of Ruden McClosky announces that Joseph “A. J.” Yolofsky has joined the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. In this capacity, Mr. Yolofsky will serve as an associate in the firm’s Ft. Lauderdale office located at 200 E. Broward Blvd., Suite 1500.

Yolofsky concentrates his practice on civil litigation, including, but not limited to, commercial; construction; health; real estate/real property; and labor and employment law; as well as, international arbitration.

Yolofsky has litigated numerous cases for commercial landlords, residential and commercial condominium associations, and commercial lenders. Serving as lead counsel, he represented an international construction company in a contractual dispute before an international arbitral tribunal, and served as general counsel to government consultants, security specialists, physicians, and hospitality businesses. His accomplishments include mediating the largest realignment of radio spectrum in the history of the FCC.

Yolofsky earned his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law, and his Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois College of Commerce. Before beginning his law career, he served as supply and logistics officer for the United States Marine Corps for more than a decade.

A member of The Florida Bar, Yolofsky is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Southern and Middle Districts of Florida, and Northern District of Georgia, pro hac vice, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals, 11th Circuit.
