A program for single Jewish men and women 65 years plus

A program called “Moving Forward" for seniors ages 65+ will be held by a collaboration of four local organizations.
Feb. 23, 2011 - PRLog -- In a unique move to reach the more mature single Jewish men and women in the region (age 65 and up), four organizations will combine efforts to present a program called “Moving Forward."  The event will be held at Congregation Beth Israel, 701 Farmington Ave., West Hartford, on Thursday, March 24, 2011, from 2-5:30 PM.
The Mandell JCC, Jewish Family Services, and The Emanuel Synagogue have joined Congregation Beth Israel in planning this event. The featured speaker will be Dr. Mary Alice Wolf, a professor at Saint Joseph College. Three workshops will also be held: “Keeping Connected”, a discussion of how to find companionship or love within a wider circle of contemporaries; “Money, Money, Money!” a discussion on how to make one’s money last; and “Spice Up Your Life!”, a discussion of how to add zest to your meals.
The cost is $10 pre-registration ; $15 at the door. Refreshments will be served.
