Vancouver Island Feng Shui Expert Releases Book: Meet the Author March 16 in Nanaimo, BC

Feb. 22, 2011 - PRLog -- “Although there have been a wealth of feng shui books published in North America, most cover a wide range of information,” explains Perrin. “When I began studying Black Sect Tantric Buddhist (BTB) Feng Shui about five years ago, I was left with many unanswered questions on certain topics. I created the Fine Art of Intention™ Feng Shui: Complete Guide series to provide more comprehensive information on nine specific areas of interest. In my first instalment, Feng Shui Crystals, readers will gain a thorough understanding multi-faceted leaded crystal spheres – of one of the most frequently recommended and often misunderstood BTB Feng Shui cures and enhancements.”

The Complete Guide to Feng Shui Crystals is a collaborative effort of Perrin, along with Lisa Graham, Seadance Photography, Comox, and Lenore Lowe, Imago Creative, Cumberland. Maureen Johnson, Feng Shui Market and Publishing, Calgary, was her editor. During her research for the project, Perrin also collaborated with some of North American’s most acclaimed BTB Feng Shui experts and authors including: David Daniel Kennedy (Feng Shui for Dummies), Karen Rauch Carter (Move Your Stuff, Change Your Life) and Dawn Hankins (The Forces Behind Feng Shui).

The 72-page, full-colour book is getting rave reviews from feng shui professionals across North America. Her Holiness Khadro Crystal Chu Rinpoche, Yun Lin Temple, Berkley California, wrote the foreword and offers her blessing to the project.

The specially commissioned photographs of crystals captured by Graham are a highlight of the book. They have been so well received that Perrin has produced a Crystals of the BTB Bagua series of art cards and a poster.

The book signing for this ‘Made on Vancouver Island’ project will be held at 5:30 – 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 16th, 2011 at Lobelia’s Lair (#8 – 321 Wesley Street), Nanaimo. The author and photographer will both be in attendance.

ABOUT TERRI PERRIN

Terri Perrin was born in Nanaimo and lived in South Wellington until the age of nine. In the late 1960s she moved to northern BC with her parents (Reg and Bea Minall) and then moved to Alberta in 1979 where she remained until 2009.  She earned her certification as a Feng Shui Practitioner from Mount Royal University in Calgary in 2008, moved to the Comox Valley in March 2009, and started Fine Art of Intention™ Feng Shui soon after.
