California Diana Campbell Rice Joins The Foundry

(Bakersfield, CA 2/23/11) California artist, Diana Campbell Rice, has joined The Foundry in Bakersfield, CA.

Founded by sculptor Justin Jennings, art consultant Nicole Browning, artists Christina Sweet and Alan Willis and graphic designer Alan Urquhart, The Foundry's mission is to "provide opportunities in education, exposure and exhibition for select visual artists and art enthusiasts for the purpose of advancing the professionalism of those dedicated individuals."

The Foundry offers the art gallery, art workshops, networking events, and other art opportunities available to the public and artists (professional, emerging and amateur). The Foundry features both solo and group exhibits. http://www.bakersfieldfoundry.com/.

The artist owns DCRdesign, a creative art company featuring her art in fine art note card collections and prints.  Her distinctive style can be found in a wide variety of art from whimsical, Native American representational design and harmony and nature. Diana’s cards and fetish dolls have been featured in galleries in Colorado and Alaska and California galleries in San Diego, Cambria, Morro Bay and Bakersfield.  She has a national and international client base.

Her career background includes marketing/graphic art, public relations, journalism and non-profit management, as well as liaison work in the fields of entertainment and film.
