Roland Comtois Featured at March 5 Fundraiser for American Heart Association

Feb. 20, 2011 - PRLog -- HARRISVILLE, RHODE ISLAND – (February 16, 2011) He was born on Valentine’s Day, which, according to mom Lisa, might have something to do with the reason why Zachary Bonnell has chosen the American Heart Association as his favorite charity. Zachary, a fourth grader at W. L. Callahan Elementary School, has distinguished himself as a top fundraiser for the organization ever since he first participated in his school’s annual “Jump Rope for Heart” as a kindergartner, even garnering recognition as the drive’s top fundraiser in the state of Rhode Island. Today he continues to support the American Heart Association through the Burrillville School System’s sponsorship of “Hoops for Heart,” hoping to best his personal record of $1,000 in annual donations by raising more than $1,500 this year – a worthy goal that takes enthusiasm, dedication… and heart.
   At age 10, he is more passionate than ever about his cause, and he has taken it upon himself, along with his newly recruited little brother Timothy, age 6 and a kindergartner at the A.T. Levy School, to go a step further by hosting a special fundraising event on March 5th that’s all about hearts… and the power of love. The two-hour event will feature an interactive presentation by best-selling inspirational speaker and author Roland Comtois and will be held at the Assembly Theater, 26 East Avenue, in Harrisville, Rhode Island, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. Tickets for the event are $20 per person, with all proceeds going to the schools’ fundraisers for the American Heart Association. Pre-registration is recommended as seating is limited.
During his presentation, Roland will speak about the possibility of spiritual communication through divinely inspired messages and stories that help people reconnect with their loved ones in spirit and on earth. “Love is a gift that is given and exchanged here so that tomorrow may be better, stronger and more peaceful. Tell the people you love how you feel today and you will carry that love into eternity.”
