By: Bucks Zumba Party Hearty Zumba instructor, Diane Reitz of Levittown, brought the idea to the group because of her personal battle with heart disease. “Almost three years ago I had two stents put in my left coronary artery, it was 90-95% occluded. I was fortunate to have survived. I made major life style changes and started basic exercise again, then I took a Zumba class and loved it! Now I'm a 62 year old heart disease survivor teaching others to learn that exercise can be fun.” All proceeds from the event will directly benefit the American Heart Association. Participants will have the opportunity to speak with professionals regarding heart health as well as the chance to win numerous raffles and prizes. “The outpouring of support from the community and sponsors has been overwhelming” Zumba Fitness® is the only Latin-inspired dance-fitness program that blends red-hot international music, and contagious steps to form a "fitness-party" Over 100 participants have already registered for the two hour event at Hope Lutheran School, 2600 Haines Road, Levittown. The event is estimated to draw about 200 participants. Donation is $10 per person for entry. Interested participants can pre- register to ensure admission at buckszumbapartyhearty@ End
