Hurley, who’s been head coach at St. Anthony’s High School in Jersey City, New Jersey for 39 years, became the 10th coach in America to win 1,000 games on February 2nd when his Friars beat St. Mary’s.  Hurley, who was named the 2007 National High School Coaches Association’s Coach of the Year, is a member of the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts.
