Feb. 18, 2011 - PRLog -- Los Angeles, CA – February 15, 2011 – The weekend of February 18 – 20, 2011 Los Angeles will welcome the 2011 All Star Weekend where millions will congregate to Hollywood for an electrifying weekend.  Not only will the notable NBA All Star Weekend gather A-List celebrities and athletes but also people from all walks of life will embark the city, ready to be entertained!  Deuce Brand Presents Deuce Brand & AND1 LIVE vs. No Limit Forever All Star Celebrity Charity Basketball is a family friendly entertaining event all for a great cause.  Communities and families are invited out for FREE Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Fairfax High School 7850 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles, CA  90036 from 3:00pm – 5:00pm and the doors will open at 2:30pm.  During halftime there will be a DUNK OFF by Team Flight Brothers with a special performance by the Jerk Movement, Rejctz (Cat Daddy) and No Limit Forever artist.

Attendees will witness the BEST Street Ball Players on the court against celebrities, professional athletes and other entertainers to maximize the All Star Weekend “Experience” for youth and their families. This FREE charity event’s mission will focus on the inner city youth and create an exciting atmosphere with LIVE Entertainment and Star Power while benefiting the charities Godparents Youth Organization and Urban Born.  There will be bus loads of students brought to Fairfax High School from local surrounding communities.  This event has limited seating and tickets will be based on a first come first serve basis.

Los Angeles school bus driver Tanya Walters started Godparents Youth Organization (G.Y.O.) in 2005 when she realized that she and her fellow drivers had formed bonds with the teenagers that they drove to and from school every day, and that they could be used to change lives. The route they have driven since starting G.Y.O. has covered thousands of miles and opened hundreds of young eyes to a world that exists beyond some of the toughest streets of Los Angeles.
