Akadema Re-Signs Gold Glove Outfielder Shane Victorino

Feb. 17, 2011 - PRLog -- Hawthorne, NJ – February 17, 2011 – Akadema announced today that the Philadelphia Phillies All-Star Center Fielder, Shane Victorino, re-signed with the New Jersey based glove manufacturer through the 2011 season.  The 30 year-old “Flyin’ Hawaiian” is a three-time defending Gold Glove winner.  “Akadema and Shane Victorino make a great pair.  Shane has been named and all-star, won three Gold Gloves, and won the World Series during his time with Akadema.  We’re happy to have him back for 2011,” said Akadema Vice President, Kris Totten.  Victorino will take his place as the starting Center Fielder for the Philadelphia Phillies when then open up the 2011 MLB season on April 1, 2011 against the Houston Astros.
