INDIE VIXENS ® Go Blue In March During SXSW At "The Suite ® Austin"

INDIE VIXENS ® will collaborate with others, raise colon cancer awareness, and launch INDIE VIXENS Sessions ®, their film screening and music showcase platform at "The Suite ®," aka Beale Street Tavern in Austin March 12-15, 2011.
Feb. 17, 2011 - PRLog -- INDIE VIXENS ®, the all female masterminds of  The Suite®, Where Film Meets Charity ®, A Sip of Hollywood ®, Beyond The Music Label Series ® (, and INDIE VIXENS Sessions® are going blue in March.  Jewell Sparks, the founder of INDIE VIXENS® and all of the organization's branded business and event platforms has volunteered for the Colon Cancer Alliance for over four years.  "Colon Cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in the United States and it is important for individuals to start having discussions with their physicians about prevention, early detection and treatment," states Sparks.  

INDIE VIXENS ® is currently booking bands, reviewing films to screen and identifying brands to connect with musicians and film makers for their venue on 6th street from March 12- March 15, 2011 in Austin, Texas during SXSW.  INDIE VIXENS ® are transforming Beale Street Tavern into "The Suite ®," an on location members only lounge for musicians, film makers, fashion enthusiasts, business executives, brand managers and media professionals. INDIE VIXENS ® will utilize mobile ticketing technology for entry into their venue and companies who collaborate or sponsor the venue will be able to utilize the mobile ticketing and coupon platform for advertising of their products and services during the time period INDIE VIXENS ®  are "IN THE CITY - Austin." Those who visit the members only / public venue will have an opportunity to network and align with potential business partners and opportunities for the future.

Musicians and films will be showcased throughout the day and evening during INDIE VIXENS ® Sessions from March 12 - 15, 2011. A portion of funds raised from submissions, private membership sales, and music showcases scheduled between March 12 and 14th will be donated to Colon Cancer Alliance's Blue Note Fund and a local non profit supporting science and technology skill development for girls.  INDIE VIXENS ®, the all female brains (technology, business, fashion, media) meets beauty organization will host an all blue, "couture meets t-shirt" happy hour at their venue as well. Women can wear something blue that makes them feel glamourous and men can wear their favorite blue shirts.  

INDIE VIXENS ® live band and brand alliance platform, Beyond The Music Label Series® will be held on March 15th at "The Suite ® Austin."  Submit a photo, a sample of your music and the date you are interested in performing by sending an email to: After SXSW, INDIE VIXENS® will conduct Beyond The Music Label Series ® for a six month time period at The Parish/Beale Street Tavern in Austin as well as continue expanding to various cities throughout the world. This series is meant to identify local talent that has national appeal, talent, and marketing potential from a business development perspective. The live performances by bands, serves as an opportunity for bands to market their performances, and invite their fans to a free show at known venues throughout the US, Asia and Europe. During music performances, INDIE VIXENS® assess the marketability of band members, their talent and strategize to identify potential brands, and development opportunities for bands over a two year time period.
