Madness Is Coming To Clark University

Feb. 17, 2011 - PRLog -- Decoupage Madness is once again headed to Massachusetts. This time for Clark University's CUREfest Art festival Sunday, February 20th held at Tilton Hall . CUREfest is an annual event to raise awareness and money for AIDS Project Worcester.
Last December, Decoupage Madness, created by Hannah Esty-McEwen was introduced to the art lovers of Southboro Massachusetts at the annual Art In The Barn event at the Beale's Preserve. The humorous pieces met with wonderful reviews. With some of the pieces,the artist blends the whimsy of animal faces with their human counterparts, adding a thought they may have come up with if given the chance. It sounds crazy but that is her motto:
" Building Crazy One Piece At A Time!".  This is all done using charger plates and vintage metal trays, sometimes furniture,married to clips from many recycled magazines and books. Thus is the art of Decoupage. Hannah Esty-McEwen, originally of Framingham Mass. and currently residing in the Philadelphia area, will be among many artists featured at this years event. She will be joined by her sister Pamela Esty, a well known painter  who resides in Southboro. CUREfest will begin at noon on Sunday and end at 5p.m. The event will not only feature artists it will also have food,music and fun for families to enjoy and most importantly, all for a wonderful cause.
