Clinics now underway, more slots available.
By: Benard Maas Feb. 17, 2011 - PRLog -- Huntley, Illinois—February 17, 2011—The average offensive lineman already knows how challenging it can be to maintain an advantage on the field, and in a position where too many coaches only emphasize hitting hard, Red Zone Blocking Clinics recognizes that real advantage is gained with proper stance and footwork coming off the line.
When it comes to these elements, Red Zone Blocking Clinics founder and president Chris Babyar does not mince his words. "Good football comes down to fundamentals, technique and repetition," When asked about the return on investment regarding his program, Babyar answered, "This program will enhance any player's blocking performance and equip them with advantages while promoting safe play to avoid injury. I guarantee rapid, dramatic improvement. But what I'm really excited about are the potential off-field advantages for my clinic participants,” James and Kelly Erb, whose son participated in Coach Babyar's clinics, would agree. "We view this level of training as an investment in our son's play," they said, "and a big advantage for him when he engages advanced Chicago football play and in college recruiting efforts." Mike Yocius, who stars on the offensive line for the New Mexico State University Aggies and a product of Coach Babyar's training, noted how important the lessons imparted to him continue to be: "I'm still using his tips and techniques at the Division 1 Level,” he said. Spring clinics for this year have already begun in Huntley, Illinois, and will continue into April. Clinics occur on Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings, and Babyar says he is excited to become a pivotal part of motivated players' training schedules. "We're offering this twice a week to make training convenient for everyone," he said. To underscore his confidence in the program, Babyar announced that he is offering a free session to players interested in the clinic. "I'm passionate about this," Babyar said. "I know that these sessions will strengthen and sharpen the skills of any player that puts in the effort. The free initial session is a way for me to prove it." Red Zone Blocking Clinics charge $15 per session after the first trial session. # # # RedZone Blocking Clinics equips youth through college level offensive linemen with the advantages they need to become superior champions.
