The Oxford Style Show & Macmillan Clothes Extravaganza meets Models of Diversity

Feb. 17, 2011 - PRLog -- Models of Diversity will be the first non-designer group to be taking the runway at The Oxford Style Show, by far the largest scale event at Oxford Fashion week

Models of Diversy will be challenging Oxford and the industry to explore fashion and our catwalk show will have a unique difference. We aim to raise much needed awareness for our campaign,  advocating for more diversity in models, and for the fashion and marketing industries to recognise the beauty in women of all races, ages, shapes, sizes and abilities.

The event is produced in association Macmillan Cancer Support and will feature a clothes extravaganza selling vintage clothes to raise funds for the charity.

The Models of Diversity show will feature up to 20 walks, with designers such as GetWaisted all showcasing their designs.

This is going to be an event of class and entertainment, but with a real purpose - it is not to be missed. Please show your support for our campaign and this worthwhile cause. You could be the reason a life is saved, a true smile is found or a remarkable difference is made in the industry.

Angel Sinclair, who is the founder of Models of Diversity and Sinclair Model Management, is a former model; she started the campaign after appearing on Gok's Miss Naked Beauty in 2008.
