Global Mining Solutions Selects Competition Team For The Race For Gold

Feb. 17, 2011 - PRLog -- On 14 February, The Race For Gold LLC concluded a 14-day voting period in which over 17,000 votes were received for 40 fan-submitted Competition Team Names.  The three winning Team Names were announced on 15 February.   The three teams competing in The Race For Gold, Year One – Eastern United States will be known as “Mother Lode” submitted by Mike Anderson, “Golden Retrievers” submitted by Shay Nicholson, and "Bounty Hunters” submitted by Tyler Thayer.

Matthew Rainwater, Director of Operations in Oregon, announced today that Global Mining Solutions has selected “Bounty Hunters” as their sponsored competition team.    As the first Team Sponsor, Global Mining Solutions earned the first Team Name selection once the voting process was completed.    

A worldwide television audience will have the ability to track and grade each team and each team member’s performance as they proceed through the 28-day competition.  Using online weekly report cards activated after each episode, each team member will receive fan-submitted grades on their teamwork, motivation, leadership, attitude, endurance and skill.  Fans will also critique each Team Leader’s ability to get their team on the gold, as well as predict which two members from each team will be sent home on Day 14 and the outcome of eight hopeful competitors subjected to a two-week "Boot Camp".    

The Race For Gold LLC is preparing to execute the first competition in Virginia during the summer of 2011 and has secured a historically rich 2,500 acre gold bearing property.  The second competition is scheduled to be conducted in the Western United States in 2012, and Australia will host the third competition in 2013.  The Company is actively searching for a network and production company, as well as sponsors for the two remaining teams, “Mother Lode” and “Golden Retrievers”.
