Sunrise Aviation Graduate Completes Airbus 320 Type Rating at Aerostar Training Services

Feb. 16, 2011 - PRLog -- Ormond Beach, Florida - A recent graduate of Sunrise Aviation has completed his Airbus A320 type rating at Aerostar Training Services.  Kienan Jabbour completed his FAA Commercial Pilot License in only 4 1/2 months and took less than 2 weeks more to pass the type rating.

Jabbour enrolled at Sunrise Aviation, a pilot training school in Central Florida, in September 2010.  He completed his Private PIlot License, Instrument Rating, and Commercial Pilot License by the end of January 2011.  Then in less than 2 weeks he was able to complete the Airbus A320 type rating at Aerostar Training Services in Orlando, Florida.  Sunrise Aviation is based at Ormond Beach, Florida about an hour away from Orlando.

When asked about his aviation training at Sunrise Aviation, Jabbour stated, "The instrument and multi-engine training at Sunrise Aviation helped me build a strong base for my A320 type rating training.  Of course, flying the jet is a lot different and a lot harder and way different in some aspects.  But without the help and guidance of the flight instructors and management at Sunrise Aviation, I would not have been able to reach my dream so quickly."

Aerostar Training Services uses the JetBlue Airways Airbus A320 simulators in Orlando, Florida.  They also offer Boeing B737NG type ratings in Miami utilizing the Boeing training facility there.
