The 2011 Volvo S60 Offers Advanced Pedestrian Detection Technology

This innovative system can avoid car accidents with pedestrians at speeds of up to 22 mph. If the driver does not brake in time, the Full Auto Brake system will do so automatically. A radar system and a camera will work together in order to recognize pedestrians. This advanced technology will be available on the 2011 Volvo S60.

The S60 gets plenty of power from its well-equipped V6 cylinder which puts out an intense 300 horsepower.  The driver can customize the driving experience via different driving modes; Advanced Stability Control and Sport Mode. The suspension system features Corner Traction Control and Advanced Stability Control. Acceleration is smooth and the car goes from zero to sixty in just 6.2 seconds.

All models come with a climate control system, Bluetooth capabilities, a trip pc, connectivity with popular music players and a high definition radio.
