"Get in the Zone" at the Zone Family Fun Center

Feb. 14, 2011 - PRLog -- The Rocky Mountains just got a little less rocky, and a little more urban.  Creative Works recently installed an “Urban Quest” theme laser tag arena (www.lasertagworld.com) at the new Zone Family Fun Center in Kalispell, Montana.  This 3,000 square foot laser tag arena compliments a variety of other attractions built at the facility, including an arcade, a Lazer Frenzy lazer maze, inflatable play areas, and a pizza restaurant.

Amber Collier, the owner of Zone Family Fun Center, met the Creative Works team at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions tradeshow in 2009.  After seeing what all of the vendors at the tradeshow had to offer, she chose Creative Works for their attention to detail and their commitment to delivering the “Wow Effect.”  When it came time to decide on a theme for her laser tag arena, she selected “Urban Quest” to immerse her customers into a world they don’t often get to see.  Kalispell, with a population of 22,000 people, isn’t exactly the most urban or industrial place around.  It sits on the edge of the Flathead National Forest, a 2.3 million acre plot of federally protected land that is bursting with an abundance of wildlife.  This area of natural beauty and scenic views is a stark contrast to the industrial, gritty, and rusted world inside the arena.  To make the most of the available space in the facility, Creative Works also added a Lazer Frenzy laser maze (www.lazerfrenzy.com) for guests of all ages to enjoy.  This attraction has a small footprint and utilizes less than 200 square feet, while encouraging repeat play.  “I am very happy with their work”, commented Collier.  “The arena they built is amazing and I like the Lazer Frenzy a lot.”

The Creative Works team enjoyed installing the arena, even though they had to brave the cold winter in Kalispell, which is only 50 miles from the Canadian border.  “Amber was great to work with”, said Armando Lanuti, the Creative Experience Broker at Creative Works.  “It was good to bring a family entertainment center to Montana and provide a place for the local community to enjoy.”
