FOOD Share welcomes four new Board of Directors members
FOOD Share, Ventura County’s only regional food bank, recently welcomed four new members to its Board of Directors
Mike Arcari is the Vice President and District Manager for the Channel Islands market within Wells Fargo’s Pacific Coast Community Bank. Arcari oversees retail banking operations for eight banking stores and more than 150 team members in the communities of Newbury Park, Camarillo and Oxnard. Arcari resides with his family in Camarillo.
Mike Coulson previously served on FOOD Share’s Board of Directors and Executive Committee helping to develop and refine the organization’
Chris Dryden, Mission Avocado’s Ventura County field representative, has been instrumental in helping FOOD Share with food sourcing and support. Dryden was actively involved in the Livestock Auction at the 2010 Ventura County Fair which provided FOOD Share with thousands of pounds of protein food sources. Dryden lives in Ventura with his wife and daughters.
Joe Schroeder is the President and CEO of the Ventura County Credit Union with many years of experience in operations and marketing also serving as CEO of several other credit unions throughout Southern California. With a passion for helping the community, Joe’s collaboration with FOOD Share is obvious one, furthering FOOD Share’s mission of “fighting hunger with compassion and commitment.”

A major food bank distributing millions of pounds of food each year to those in need throughout Ventura County, FOOD Share collects and receives food year-round, distributing to more than 150 pantry partner agencies throughout Ventura County, including Camarillo, Fillmore, Moorpark, Oak View, Ojai, Oxnard, Santa Paula, Simi Valley, Somis, Thousand Oaks, and Ventura.
FOOD Share provides food to more than 73,000 people each month countywide through its partner agencies and multiple programs. Programs include the Senior Brown Bag, which provides supplemental nutrition to nearly 2,000 low income seniors, and Snack Attack programs that offer healthy nutritious after-school snacks to approximately 2,200 children.
