IMPULSE launch TANK-GM45A Fanless Core 2 Duo Wide Temperature Embedded PC

Feb. 14, 2011 - PRLog -- The TANK-GM45A has an impressive specification, powered by the Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 2.4GHz Processor incorporated with the latest Intel GM45 chipset and supporting up to 2GB of DDR2 memory.

The TANK-GM45A features high performance MPEG-2 Decoding in WMV9 (VC-1) and H.264 (AVC) video formats making it an ideal solution for the Digital Security Surveillance (DSS) industry. It is sustainable in wide temperature environments from -20C to 70C when using a 2.5” Flash Disk or Solid State Hard Drive. With the absence of mechanical storage devices the TANK-GM45A provides lower power consumption and higher performance.

System I/O on the TANK-GM45A includes dual 10/100/1000 Base-T RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet, 4 x USB2.0 and 2 x COM ports. The high performance Gigabit Ethernet is controlled via independent Intel 82574L and WG82567LM Ethernet chipsets allowing high bandwidth support for IP based surveillance camera systems.

The TANK-GM45A also includes the latest IEI One Key Recovery software for effortless system restoration and recovery management. One Key Recovery easily creates full system backups on demand and enables simple restoration from a previously made backup with a single click.
