Telesens, an independent software vendor of products and services to the Telecommunications market, headquartered in London, with a development centre in Ukraine, today announced that in 2010 it concluded more than 50 new agreements and expanded significantly the geography of its activities.
During last year, the company has actively promoted both of its main business streams - developing and supporting software products in the field of inter-carrier billing, as well as project development for a wide range of customers.
Thus, Telesens Product Line Business Unit signed more than 30 agreements for implementation, services and added functionality for its Telesens Interconnect Business Suite (TIBS). There are now 11 implementations of TIBS products in Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Belarus. In particular, the company expanded its presence last year by implementing a comprehensive settlement system Tinterconnect (T-IC) at Altel, the first national operator for cellular communication in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
“Telesens tracks market developments and creates software products to support the new types of services that telecommunications operators provide. This has enabled partners to manage settlements for content and traffic trade management”, Eduard Rubin, the CEO of Telesens International declared.
“For example, working in collaboration with Kyivstar, a unique musical rights management system was created. This innovation allowed Kyivstar to work flexibly with all rights holders to provide subscribers with the widest range of music", said E. Rubin.
The Telesens Custom Solutions Business Unit concluded more than 20 new contracts with customers from Ukraine, Lithuania, the USA, Germany and the UK during 2010.
In 2010, Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) was a major customer for Telesens’ IT services. For NSN, Telesens performs projects to integrate the CDR charge@once processing platforms and the SAAM services provisioning platform, and supports its own implemented solutions and solutions of other system integrators. As an NSN subcontractor, Telesens successfully completed integration projects for Telcos in Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Turkey and other countries.
In addition, Telesens continued its successful cooperation with Avologic, Inc., USA, who is a customer of applications being developed for New York Road Runners, USA, an organizer of the famous ING New York City Marathon.
Active marketing and participation in some of the largest and most prestigious international exhibitions and forums has helped the move into new markets.
E. Rubin said that the main tasks of the company for 2011 year are to expand its activities in the European and American markets, further enhance existing software products and develop new products based on new technologies and development processes.
