Aliso Viejo Country Club Announces Changes to Leadership Team

Feb. 12, 2011 - PRLog -- As it approaches its full golf compliment of 475 members, Aliso Viejo Country Club, a member of the ClubCorp family, announces the addition of a new food and beverage director and an internal promotion filling the membership director position.

Aliso Viejo Country Club is pleased to announce the promotion of Nicole Hensley to the position of Membership Director. Hensley has played an instrumental role in the Club’s quest for its full golf compliment of 475 members.

Previously, Hensley served in Member Relations and Communications roles at the Club. Hensley holds a MBA degree from Chapman University and is fluent in three languages – English, Spanish and Romanian.

Prior to joining the Club, Hensley worked in various business, community and philanthropic endeavors. Her achievements include heading up Relay for Life events raising more than $1 million for the Orange County region of the American Cancer Society.

Aliso Viejo Country Club, General Manager, Rick Williams says, “Nicole is a natural fit for her sales focused role; within a few short months she has led the region in new membership sales.”

Williams shared, “Our club is poised for further growth and proud to offer an expanded array of targeted social and dining experiences with the addition of Ted Teran as Director of Food and Beverage.”

Teran’s experience in the resort, luxury dining and hospitality industry spans several regions and many dynamic brands across Southern California. With a background running hotels and private clubs in the desert communities including the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort, La Quinta Resort and PGA West properties, Teran was selected to oversee the renovation and redevelopment of the Los Angeles Athletic Club and Hotel, including their six food and beverage outlets and staff.

Next, Teran served as General Manager of David Wilhelm’s French 75 restaurant in Burbank. Teran’s restaurant leadership continued, while as General Manager he oversaw the grand reopening of the legendary eatery The Catch in Anaheim.

Longing to return to a private club setting, Teran and his family settled in Aliso Viejo near the club he now calls home. In his new role, Teran interfaces with club leadership to identify trends and tailor custom food and beverage programming to meet the evolving member social and dining tastes.
