Taylor Young Photography of East Grinstead, UK Starts Facebook Fan Site

Feb. 12, 2011 - PRLog -- Taylor Young Photography, based in East Grinstead, England, is focusing their attention onto social media websites to generate more clients and to stay in touch with their current clients.  "It just makes sense." Mr. Young said when being asked why he's putting so much energy into branding himself on social media websites.  "When I was a kid, and I started my first business, a mobile car wash, I used to have to make up business cards from A4 sheets of paper, using only a pencil and ruler.  I would then hand deliver them to all of my neighbors and hope someone would take pity on me.  I had no way of communicating with those that did hire me.  Well, other than to go back to their house and ask if they needed their car washed again."

"With over 500 million people on Facebook and more joining every single day, this is really where marketing and communicating with your clients is taking place." Mr. Young added.

His website has numerous "like" buttons, where followers can like his profile.  The benefit? "My clients and their friends can follow me, see when I have special offers, etc.  I also post some great content related to photography on my Facebook profile.  How-To's and that sort of thing"

Mr. Young is thinking of giving away iPads every three months to encourage people to "like" his website.  But nothing is worked out yet.
