Still Point Art Gallery Opens New Exhibition: "Still Life: Ordinary and Extraordinary"

Feb. 11, 2011 - PRLog -- Brunswick, ME - Still Point Art Gallery recently opened its newest online exhibition--"Still Life: Ordinary and Extraordinary." Many of the images in the show are of ordinary objects that we all see and touch in our day-to-day living. All of the images are extraordinary expressions of honor, remembrance, reverence, and gratitude. Christine Cote, Gallery Owner and Director, comments, "This is a show to enjoy slowly...a show during which to feel and experience the power of ordinary objects."

Artists of Distinction for this exhibition are Linda Pearlman Karlsberg, a painter and draughtsman from Newton, Massachusetts; Marko Susla, a photographer from Edison, New Jersey; and Ranjini Venkatachari, a pencil artist from Sammamish, Washington. Due to the outstanding quality of their work and their engaging response to the theme of the exhibition, these three artists will have the opportunity to show more of their art as Gallery Artists beginning in April 2011. A total of forty-one artists are exhibiting about one hundred images in this exhibition dedicated to the beauty and power of Still Life.
