Feb. 11, 2011 - PRLog -- The Annual Meeting is taking place April 9th - 16th at the Hawaii Convention Center in the heart of beautiful Honolulu, and the virtual career fair will be held on April 12th and 13th, from 7am-9am and from 10:30am-12:30pm HAT.

The AAN virtual career fair is a live event that takes place online, replacing the traditional brick-and-mortar career fair. Recruiters and job seekers will be closer than ever in this easily navigable, realistic 3-D virtual environment.

The AAN virtual career fair provides its exhibitors the opportunity to engage in live conversations with neurology professionals via instant chat and/or webcam, all without the costs associated with travel, food or lodging. Recruiters will collect resumes and applications from skilled professionals and network with candidates and fellow exhibitors. They’ll also receive in-depth, post-event reporting complete with chat transcripts. By participating, companies are able to position themselves as an innovative and environment-friendly employer, and extend their corporate employment brand with customizable virtual booths.

Candidates will be able to visit exhibitor booths and view their employment information. They can initiate live chats with recruiters, upload and submit their resume for various opportunities, attend informational presentations in the auditorium, and connect with other job seekers and recruiters in the virtual networking lounge.
