Feb. 10, 2011 - PRLog -- Tuesday, February 8, Provocateur Lounge hosted the highly anticipated launch of Auténtico Tequila Alacrán, which took an eclectic mix of New York and Mexican society by storm.

Fashionistas/os, artists, entrepreneurs, and nightlife inner circles collided and blended easily with Mexico's elite, whom kept themselves warm by taking shots of the Auténtico Tequila Alacrán immediately as they walked in. Guests included Amanda Hearst, Bertrand Stella (CEO of Marc Jacobs), Domingo Zapata, Donald Trump Jr., Joel Warren, Karen Watkins (Vice President of Christian Dior), Maria Elena Cabezut (Director of Mexican Cultural Institute), Santiago Barberi Gonzalez, and designer Carlos Mota. Other guests included Seth Greenberg, Aram Sabet, Thomas Kramer, the indie band Vampire Weekend, and other media groups such as MTV.

The place was branded from top to bottom, including life size ice sculptures of the A.T.A bottle. No one anticipated this tequila to be so easy to sip! To get the party started, white roses were scattered on every table alongside the chic matte-black A.T.A bottle. Guests marveled as the fresh 100% Weber Agave tequila hit their taste buds. If you weren’t at one of the 16 tables stocked all night with the tequila, Alacrán cocktails and unlimited shots were being served at the bar.

“The evening was phenomenal,” partner of Auténtico Tequila Alacrán, Ernesto Ibarra Henkel, stated. “The place was filled with smiling faces! Even the ones that were most difficult to impress were enjoying A.T.A. That was our main objective and I definitely believe New York gave us their seal of approval.”

CEO of Sant Arturo Wine, Arty Dozortsev, said, “ I joined forces with Ernesto and his A.T.A team because I believe this is the sexiest looking bottle and the best tasting tequila I’ve ever had. Now, I don’t have to peer pressure anyone to take a shot when I order a round."

The place was packed with guests not wanting to leave when the clock struck 11. Who could expect anything less, with Arty Dozortsev and his event planning and marketing team, VIEvents, known for hosting the sexiest dinner parties in New York’s hottest restaurants.

After a successful night, Auténtico Tequila Alacrán will be taking up post on many bars, restaurants and clubs around New York thanks to the impressive guest list of club owners and restaurateurs who attended the celebration for A.T.A's new home.
