Addressing Unmet Patient Needs

collaboration effort with the research group from Rutgers and Thomas Jefferson
University aimed to help identify unmet needs for users of medically-related social

Dr. Irene Wang, a post-doctoral fellow from Rutgers University and one of the four
creators of the research project, states:  "We are striving to determine the needs
of various end-users who visit  medically-related social media sites, in hopes of
not only increasing awareness, but potentially providing substantial value to
improving this new generation of web-based healthcare."
