“I’m honored to be a part of something that’s close to my heart,” says Batting, who nearly lost her mother and father to heart disease a few years ago. “I hope women will join me in wearing red on February 11 to support this important cause.”
As one of the only certified image and personal brand strategists in the state, Batting has been invited to speak about the importance of having confidence in your professional image. She will speak at 10 a.m. during the “Go Red” luncheon.
Margaret says she has a passion for helping people feel good about themselves. In addition to supporting the American Heart Association, she serves as the Image and Style Liaison Advisor for Dress for Success Rhode Island, another local non-profit that empowers women.
Prior to launching Eleve Image Consulting in 2008, Batting acted as Vice President of Merchandising Process Improvement and VP of Print Advertising for Staples Inc. She has more than 20 years experience representing major retail companies and uses her corporate experience to help entrepreneurs and business leaders make a more favorable first impression. Batting serves as the Corporate Style Expert for GoLocalProv and is a regularly featured guest on AM 790 WPRV’s “Patricia Raskin Positive Business” show.
