Heartfelt celebrations for Midlands venue

Feb. 7, 2011 - PRLog -- A multi-purpose venue near Coventry is set for a double celebration on a date close to its heart.

Valentine’s weekend will mark the tenth anniversary of the day Midlands entrepreneur Stephen Hammon bought the dilapidated Old Hall Farm in Fillongley near Meriden to create the Heart of England Conference and Events Centre.

It is now a thriving venue with the Heart Park and Beach which includes a lake, conference suites, a restaurant, hotel and 65-acre woodland site for team-building activities.

And to mark the occasion, the centre is on a mission to give guests a night to remember with its Valentine’s Blues Brothers Ball on Saturday, February 12.

Members of the public will join specially invited guests, who have contributed to the centre’s success over the years, for a three-course meal before being entertained by the hottest Blues Brothers show in the West Midlands and a disco.

Melanie Kerkeni, business development manager at the Heart of England Conference and Events Centre, believes a great night is in store for all.

She said: “Traditionally our Valentine’s events have always been popular and this promises to be an extra-special occasion.

“Tickets are selling really well and it has also been well received by our special guests who have supported us over the years.

“The venue is totally unrecognisable from when Stephen bought it a decade ago and we are now a favourite with a wide range of clients from conference delegates to families wanting to enjoy a day out at England’s most central beach.

“The Valentine’s Blues Brothers Ball is not just for old romantics, we have a disco running too so there will be dancing until 1am.

“Plus, for those who want to stay overnight we have seven individually decorated bedrooms housed in the Old Hall House, the most romantic of all being our four poster suite with double Jacuzzi bath.”
