Feb. 4, 2011 - PRLog -- Toll Brothers, the nation’s leading builder of luxury homes, announces the official groundbreaking of its newest community, Rivington by Toll Brothers, a master planned community that will encompass 258 wooded acres and will offer four distinctive neighborhoods with up to 1,080 new luxury townhomes, condominiums, and age-restricted residences in Danbury, CT.

“This was truly an exciting occasion,” said Greg Kamedulski, Division President. “Toll Brothers has designed new home designs specifically for this community to complement the existing townhomes.  It’s going to be a wonderful opportunity to offer Toll Brothers’ standard of excellence to our future homeowners.”

Mayor Mark Boughton said, “The City of Danbury is excited to welcome Toll Brothers and their plans for luxury homes and distinctive neighborhoods to our community.  The addition of Rivington by Toll Brothers to our city's westside is important to our future, and will be a great residential option for current residents as well as future ones. ”

The first phase of Rivington – known as The Hills – currently includes 114 residences with swimming pool and cabana. The neighborhood will be completed by Toll Brothers and eventually include 252 homes. Rivington will also feature a village retail center and world-class amenities, including a clubhouse, a pool, a tot lot, ball courts, walking and hiking trails, and much more. Sales and construction of these luxury townhomes has begun.

The community offers six low-maintenance home designs, ranging from 1,700 to 2,590 square feet, each featuring sumptuous master suites, finely appointed kitchens and sunlit breakfast rooms, 2-car garages, and a host of other outstanding features starting from the low $300,000s.

“Aside from the community’s remarkable homes, lawn care and snow removal are attended to, providing homeowners with plenty of free time to indulge in the many amenities Rivington has to offer,” explained Matt Gilchrist, Project Manager.

Located in Danbury at exit 2 of I-84, Rivington is close to Metro North Commuter Rail, and offers an easy commute to White Plains, Stamford, and New York City.  Residents will enjoy the area’s wide variety of cultural and recreational activities, fine dining, and fabulous shopping.
