Valutivity Balances People & Process at Richmond VSCPA 2011 Nonprofit Conference
Karen Smith-Will, of Hanover County consulting firm Valutivity LLC, spoke at the Nonprofit Conference for the Richmond Chapter of the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (VSCPA) on People and Process in Nonprofits.
Karen joined a lineup of speakers that included the following: Phyllis Katz, who spoke on “Volunteer vs. Organization Liability,” Bill Stevens, who delivered the “Tax/Audit Update for Non-Profits,”
Attending the conference were both accounting professionals and a range of leaders representing nonprofits that varied from smaller community service organizations and churches to larger ones like the Richmond YMCA and the Virginia Special Olympics.
