Aerosim Flight Academy Hits Milestone of 100,000 Flight Hours

Feb. 4, 2011 - PRLog -- Aerosim Flight Academy’s fleet of Cirrus SR20’s single engine training aircraft has surpassed a major aviation milestone logging more than 100,000 flight hours. The academy first introduced the Cirrus SR20 in 2006 and now operates  a fleet of 32 aircraft at 4 locations for primary and advanced flight training. Cirrus aircraft company confirms that Aerosim Flight Academy is the largest operator of SR20. Aerosim Flight Academy and its affiliate Aerosim Training Solutions  trains a wide range of students from zero-time pilot to instructor ratings as well as   initial and recurrent  type rating training for transport category aircraft for airline customers all over the world.

The SR20 is a single engine composite monoplane that seats four and incorporates advanced performance and safety technologies, including the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System ™ (CAPS), as a standard safety feature. The SR20 was first certified by the FAA October 23rd, 1998. The aircraft provides a fully digital avionics suite with a primary flight display and one multi-function display.

“This is truly a milestone for the academy. The design of the SR20 has proven to be rugged enough for flight training, easy to maintain and looks great when it’s parked on the ramp.
