Teen Singer Aria Tesolin Releases Dolce, a Sweet New Love Song

Feb. 4, 2011 - PRLog -- Aria Tesolin, the original child opera singer, once described as “a wisp of a girl” by a news reporter, now 17, has officially grown up.  Her new single Dolce, released digitally today, is an innocent and beautiful love song. Aria’s beautiful voice has grown into a genre defining signature sound that is as original as the artist herself, a high mezzo soprano operatic voice, a singer songwriter, and surprisingly, also a spoken word poet.
 
Dolce, with words penned by the artist and music by Italian singer and composer Popi Fabrizio, arranged by Toronto producer Doug Romano, tells the timeless love story of two close friends who have a beautiful day together and realize that they have fallen in love.  But it is also a modern love story where the young woman, with great tenderness and respect, asks her love’s consent to enter this uncharted territory of the heart, fully aware of the perils it may bring to their friendship. This already sounds like a good plot for an opera.

Aria began performing difficult opera arias at the age of 8 in Toronto area concerts with Canada’s 3 Tenors. In 2007 she performed with The Canadian Tenors for their Christmas concert. Aria was the original 8 year old opera singing sensation and became known as the youngest opera singer in the world after the 2006 release of her album Baby Soprano, paving the way for other child opera singers, like Jackie Evancho, to follow.  

With an international digital following of nearly 6 million people from ages 8 – 64, Aria has become a digital media sensation. Aria has been prominently featured on national news through CityTV, CTV, Global, OMNI, TLN and locally through Rogers media.

True to her artistic passion as an original artist, Aria is currently working on several original songs that range from soft pop to crooner songs and performs a range of classical art songs and arias, light jazz, soft pop and ballads.
