Follow on Google News | Advance My Baby Announces Plan to Giveaway $1 Million Dollars in Free AssessmentsAdvance My Baby, the company creating a new standard in parenting, announced they are giving away $1 million of Assessments in 2011; it is a way to kick start a revolution of children reaching their full potential in developmental processes.
By: Advance My Baby, Inc. AMB On-Line Assessments provide parents an understanding of the progress of their child in six developmental categories: Gross Motor, Fine Motor, Cognitive, Language, Self Care and Emotional / Social skills. The AMB On-Line Assessment is offered on the company’s website for $300. To give away $1 million, they plan to award 277 free assessment each month to people who enroll at www.AdvanceMyBaby.com and click the “like’ tab on Advance My Baby’s Facebook page. Baby and child assessments generally cost between $250 and $650 and insurance may or may not pay for some or all parts. As a result, parents seldom have their children assessed more than once a year. This is a disadvantage to maximizing the potential of a child. Advance My Baby encourages parents to assess their child every three months, especially in the first three years of life. “We are providing this million dollar giveaway to show the importance of sensory processing. The connection between behavior and the central nervous system wasn’t discovered until the 1960s and people still do not understand it,” says Advance My Baby, the manual, co-author Paula Tarver. “Our manual and this assessment are designed to change everything.” Advance My Baby is part of an entire educational and training process to turn back the tide of troubling child trends. Since the late 1990s, there has been an epidemic of premature births, skyrocketing autism and quickly increasing Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The Center for Disease Control in November said one out of every 10 children have ADHD. Advance My Baby is a day-to-day system taking a baby from birth to 36 months of age. Each chapter concludes with a Home Checklist to monitor activities that are all designed to enhance the “Sensory Processing,” # # # Advance My Baby, Inc., is an educational, informational, research and publishing company helping moms and dads (all caregivers) create the ultimate environment for baby growth and development.
