Sibley appoints Susan Ohnmacht, R.N., M.S., M.S.N as Associate Chief Nursing Officer

Feb. 3, 2011 - PRLog -- Sibley Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce the appointment of Susan Ohnmacht, R.N., M.S., M.S.N as Associate Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and Director of Critical Care. In addition to continuing her leadership of the critical care service and coordination of Sibley's emergency management program, Ohnmacht‘s new responsibility as the Associate CNO, will include planning, coordinating, and facilitating leadership programs and other divisional activities, development and implementation of the framework for patient care services leadership compliances in coordination with human resources.

She will identify and recommend opportunities for leadership development in the division and will develop outcome indicators for those activities. Susan will represent the hospital as needed on behalf of patient care services and will assume the functional role and responsibilities of the Senior Vice President for Patient Care Services and CNO in her absence.

Ohnmacht received her bachelor’s in nursing from Albright College and two masters in organization effectiveness and nursing administration from Marymount University. She is currently working on her PhD in Health Care Administration.
