Special Urban “Train” Quest Arena Added to LTA Depot in Murfreesboro, TN

Feb. 2, 2011 - PRLog -- The John Hughes’ movie "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles" released in the late ‘80s was a smash hit about two polar opposite business travelers who forged a friendship after several travelling mishaps.  That movie usually comes to mind when hearing the name of a fun center that recently worked with Creative Works:  Lanes, Trains & Automobiles Entertainment Depot in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.  This 50,000 square foot state of the art facility has been going through renovations to provide a full Family Entertainment Center experience for its guests.  With 32 bowling lanes, bumper cars, arcade games, and a full service restaurant, this facility is not short of FUN!  To make their attraction list complete, LTA Depot commissioned Creative Works, the world leader in designing and building laser tag arenas, to add a uniquely themed arena to their center.

The Creative Works team converted the popular Urban Quest theme for LTA Depot to include trains within the environment to match the overall theme of the FEC.  Special murals of futuristic trains were included on the walls to enhance the vibrant industrial vibe inside of the laser tag arena.  “Our design team thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of tweaking an existing theme and we’re proud of the outcome,” commented Jeff Schilling, Chief Architect of Experiences at Creative Works.  Large gears and train track type props were placed throughout the playing field to give 3-D elements for the players’ viewing pleasure.

“The Theme Team at Creative Works did a fantastic job and we are glad we chose their package above all others.  It has been a great addition to the facility,” said Derek Ransom, owner of the laser tag attraction within the LTA Depot.
