Follow on Google News | Sibley appoints Sheila Evans, R.N., M.S., A.O.C.N as Administrator for the Oncology Service LineEvans’ major responsibilities will include developing and overseeing clinical operations across all Sibley locations that provide cancer care to patients.
She will be responsible for service, quality and financial performance of assigned areas of responsibility to include, but not limited to, employed physician offices on and off campus, oncology research and infusion center and palliative care. She will work to achieve the goals and objectives to support Sibley's overall clinical mission and growth. Evans worked at Sibley for more than ten years in various leadership roles in oncology, and for the last five years as the director of oncology services. In 2010, she spent a year with the University of Pittsburg Medical Center working to enhance cancer services at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading, England. She returned and accepted this position. Evans received her Bachelors in Nursing from The Pennsylvania State University and a Masters in Nursing from Rush University.
