Feb. 1, 2011 - PRLog -- Team Pink Panthers is extremely proud to announce the results of their participation in the 4th annual Spring Fling Series during January 29th and 30th as well as the results of the Rosewood Winter series during January 30th.

The Masters 45+ Road Race included an approximate 42 miles of intense racing with over 30 racers hungry for the opportunity to finish in 1st place. Our very own Jeff Fleming and Shaun Redman whom were top contenders from the very beginning collectively put their experience and strength into practice. With that said, we are extremely proud to say that their hard work paid off as Shaun Sprinted to the finish line in 1st place winning the event. “I was hungry for this win but I couldn’t have done it without Jeff’s help” said Redman, a veteran Pink Panther.

The Masters 35+ Road Race followed a short time later. As expected, the competition was strong as top teams were visiting from as far as Connecticut. The fierce competition left no chances for the unwilling as over 45 racers participated in this battle of the finest including our top veteran racers of this category: Julio Rojas, Alex Yarnall, Pedro Leon and representing as Pink Panthers for the first time were Leandro Contreras and Gregg Blow. Once again, the experience and unselfishness of all paid off as the Leandro Contreras sprinted to the finish line and came in 1st place winning the race alongside teammate Gregg Blow finishing in 5th place. Again, first win as Panthers.

The 40+ Category of the Rosewood Winter Series was taking place the same day in South Florida. As above, this is another strong and extremely competitive event taking place at a local venue. The event included the participation of two new Panthers: Jose Armas and Andy Teixeira. The two worked together overcoming fierce racing and competitive race tactics from the competition allowing Jose Armas to sprint to the finish line earning a 1st place spot and winning the race.
