One Wish One Dream Seeks Volunteers, Sponsors and Donations for Charity Prom Fashion Show Benefitin
On March 20th one Wish One Dream will be hosting a charity prom fashion show to benefit underprivileged teens.

New York, New York – January 30, 2011 – The New York City-based organization One Wish One Dream – http://www.iwilldreamawish.com - is presently seeking volunteers, sponsors, service and in-kind donations for their March 20th fashion show benefiting underprivileged New York City teens at party loft nyc. The event will help local New York teens prepare for their prom and also grant 10 underprivileged teens with a prom dream. Tickets for this upscale event for a worthy cause are $30 each in advance and include food, fashion show, entertainment and the chance to win great prizes. Each of the first 50 guests to buy tickets to this event online at http://www.iwilldreamawish.com will receive a special gift bag.
In-kind donations needed include new or gently used clean prom and bridesmaid dresses in sizes 2 to plus, evening wraps, prom jewelry, evening handbags, women’s prom gloves and prom shoes. Items needed for teen boys include tuxedos and suits of all sizes, white dress shirts, vests, cummerbunds, belts, bow ties and black shoes. Other in-kind donations needed include clothing hangers, disposable cameras, tall rolling dress racks, silk flowers and greenery, spray cleaners for clothing, dry cleaning bags, shoe shine supplies, and large jewelry bead bags. Service donations needed include manicures, hair styles, alternations, dry cleaning, flowers, printing, film development, photographers, videographers, set designers, set-up and break down teams, gift certificates for dinner and limousine services.
“One Wish One Dream’s upcoming Charity Prom Fashion Show is an excellent way for New York City businesses to gain tremendous exposure while at the same time helping local underprivileged teens,” said One Wish One Dream’s Founder and President, Iaisha Phillips. “This event was created to help underprivileged teens believe in themselves and show them obstacles can be overcome and wishes do come true. We provide an opportunity for teens that could not normally afford to attend this traditionally major event for high school students – and at the same time boost their self-esteem which will allow them to make good life decisions in the future,” concluded Phillips.
Donated items not appropriate for a teen or formal occasion may be sold or donated to other organizations, as deemed necessary, and all proceeds will support One Wish One Dream.
