McGregor Metalworking Companies Appoints Rick Wagner as the Plant Manager of SC Metal Products B

Jan. 29, 2011 - PRLog -- Springfield, OH – McGregor Metalworking Companies has hired Rick Wagner to run the Operations of its SC Metal Products facility in Aiken, South Carolina.  SC Metal Products is focused on three centers of excellence for McGregor – Metal Stamping, Split Metal Pulley production and Robotic Welding.  “Rick has great depth in Operations Management in the metal forming industry and has exhibited leadership skills that will complement our existing management team” said Mark Wigginton, VP of Operations for McGregor Metalworking.
 
Mr. Wagner was previously with Kennametal Corporation and Holland USA.  He has an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech and an MBA from Clemson University.  “Manufacturing today is very competitive and our SC Metal Products business is located in a very good area for increased growth for McGregor.  Rick is an addition that will help us to properly leverage that growth through his process and customer focus” commented Dane Belden, McGregor Metal Working’s President.
 
The Aiken, SC facility serves a diverse customer base whose products range from automotive, agriculture, lawn and garden to industrial markets.  With stamping presses up to 800 tons, the SC Metal Products facility is a state of the art factory conveniently located just off of Interstate 20.
